Wow. Can you believe we are already finished with the 1st quarter? Report cards will be coming out soon.
Next week 7th and 8th grade Pre-Algebra will be starting one and two step eqations.
7th grade math will be working on factoring and multiples.
6th grade will be finishing up our section on division.
Don't forget that Parent / Teacher conferences are coming up on November 4. If you need to have a certain time please email me and I will be happy to pencil you in.

Week 9
Remember No School for students next Friday, October 25. The quarter ends next Thursday. Please check RenWeb to see if your student is missing any work.
7th Grade We still need items for our Fall Festival basket. Please bring in items by next Thursday, October 24. The theme of the basket is Relaxation.
Pre-Algebra is starting to work on solving one step equations. Then we will move on to two step equations. This is one of my favorite sections.
7th grade is still working on decimals.
6th grade is working on division.
This has been a wonderful 1st quarter. I have enjoyed getting to know all of your children. They are wonderful.

7th grade - Fall Festival basket items need to be brought in. The theme of our basket is RELAXATION. Thank you to everyone who has sent in items already.
6th grade had their second test of the quarter this week and are going to continue with division next week.
Pre-Algebra will be having one more test this quarter late next week.

Welcome October. However it sure doesn't seem like fall.
A few notes this week. Please don't forget about Fall Festival Baskets. Check with homeroom teachers for theme.
7th Grade Theme is Relaxation.
Please send in items so we can have a wonderful basket. Gift certificates for massages, pedicures, or manicures. Lotion, body scrub or candles. We appreciate everything we have already received.
Jr Beta Club induction is Wednesday, October 9 at 8:20 am. If you child has been invited to join they have already received their invitation. They must have an overall average of 90 or above. We will be going to lunch after so make sure to send $15 with them and sign permission slips if they are in Beta Club.
All classes are going well. Every class should finish 2nd tests by next Friday. Thank you for sharing your child.
